RETURNS
We provide store credit for change of mind returns (Excluding Made To Order products).
Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to have your return approved. The cost of return postage will be the responsibility of the customer.
We strongly recommend that you use a registered shipping method so you can track your order, Bandhini cannot be held liable for items that are lost in transit.
Once received, you will be emailed with details of your store credit to the value of the returned item.
(Made To Order items are sent to production especially for you, so we cannot accept change-of-mind returns of these customised pieces.)
Refunds and exchanges are only offered for faulty or damaged items.
Please note that when dealing with handmade items and naturally dyed items, there can be a degree of individuality in each design. Typically, small printed imperfections and dye lot variations are not considered a fault and will not result in a refund or exchange.
If you believe your item is faulty, you will need to submit a request with photographs of the fault within 7 days of receiving your order. The item/s must be in their original condition, with the original packaging and tags still attached. Item/s must not have been used, washed or altered in any way. It is at the discretion of Bandhini to decide the severity of the fault and the means in which it will be resolved.
As a small, environmentally conscious company supplying handmade items and committed to reducing waste, we will generally opt to repair your item whenever possible. If repair is not possible and we have the item or one similar in stock we will opt to exchange, if neither of these options are possible we provide you with a full refund for your faulty item.
CANCELLATIONS
We don't accept cancellations of custom or backordered items - these are sent to production on a made-to-order basis especially for you.
If you have a specific deadline to receive your items please contact our at customerservice@bandhinidesign.com prior to ordering to ensure your items can be processed and dispatched in time.
APPLYING FOR A RETURN

Please include the reason for the request, your proof of purchase and any photos to support the request.

Once received, your returned item it can take up to 5 business days to process.
- If receiving a refund, the returned amount will be paid back by the original method used for purchase.
- For an exchange, the new item will be sent out to the original postal address unless informed otherwise.
- For store credit, you will receive an email with your credit details.
EXCESSIVE RETURNS
We monitor returns and exchanges to identify potential abuse or misuse of our return & exchange policies. Continued returns or exchanges will be flagged and potentially refused at our discretion.
LIMITED WARRANTY
In order for this warranty policy to apply, the item must have been:
- Manufactured by Bandhini Design House Australia;
- Sold directly by Bandhini Design House Australia - proof of purchase is required;
- Used in a normal domestic environment, and not a commercial environment;
- Not subject to abuse, improper treatment, neglect or misuse; and
- Maintained and cleaned in accordance with our instructions and/or recommendations.
Fair wear and tear is not covered by this warranty policy, including slight fading after washing or items left in the sun. Please be aware that natural features of stone, leather and timber include variations in pattern and colour shade. We will do our best to match colours but some variation is to be expected and is not covered by this policy.
OUT OF STOCK & BACKORDER
Occasionally items are incorrectly listed as 'In Stock' on our website. We apologise if this situation does occur and will contact you immediately to work out a solution - usually with alternative options or to place the item on backorder for when we restock. If you wish not to wait you may request a refund for the out of stock item.
